东西方古典语言和思想；适合国情和当地文化传统的评估；精神灵性及宗教与评估；少数民族地区的发展和评估；国际发展、政府善制、教育、可持续发展和农村发展的评估等。

My research interests include Eastern and Western classics of antiquity, culturally responsive evaluation, spirituality/religion  and evaluation, indigenous evaluation, and evaluation in education, good governance, rural development, international development and sustainable development.

1982-1986，就读北京大学外国语学院英语语言和文学系

1991年,获得美国弗吉尼亚大学教育学院评估专业硕士学位

1995年，被美国弗吉尼亚大学达顿（DARDEN）商业研究生院录取 (Accepted  by the Darden Business School at University of Virginia)

1996年 获得美国弗吉尼亚大学教育学院评估专业博士学位 

Ph.D. in Evaluation, University of Virginia

1997，在世界银行(华盛顿)任职，负责对世界银行在全球的培训进行评估。      (Evaluation Unit, Economic Development Institute,  World Bank)

1998-2000，担任美国国务院邀请的中国高层代表团的口语翻译。 (Interpreter)

2001-2002 在美国政府问责署任职，负责评估美国联邦政府绩效。(U.S. Government Accountability Office)

2002，作为主要成员参与的有关美国教育法案评估项目获美国总统政务顾问委员会杰出奖。(The President's Council for Integrity and Efficiency)

2003年任美国农业部评估领域的的社会科学家 (Evaluation Specialist/Social Scientist, U.S. Department of Agriculture)

2004年-至今 在中国农业大学任教，教授监测评估、英语沟通、美国社会文化以及中国文化等课程，并任中国政府和国际组织的评估专家 (Professor, College of Humanities and Development Studies, China  Agriculture University)
