My experience and stay in China was a memorable one. Being an international student in China is an unforgettable and immensely rewarding experience. I was able to witness China’s historic transformation from an underdeveloped country into a major global power, I had the opportunity to meet people all over the world too.  I also want to seize this opportunity to thank CSC for the rare opportunity given to me to obtain a master’s degree from prestigious China Agricultural University.

Working with experienced teachers in COHD gave me the opportunity and confidence to impact knowledge to my students and also apply my research knowledge to a range of agricultural issues and apply economic theory to practical problems. The fact that the program was thesis-based also helped me to develop critical skills necessary to guide my students through their research.

I credit COHD in providing an excellent base from which to build a meaningful career in the rural development and management field. It provided me with the management skills I needed to succeed and a deeper understanding of sustainable development as a whole. The program offers practical courses that are firmly grounded in theory and are administered by faculty who are approachable and highly competent. The teaching style is one that forced me to think beyond my disciplinary boundaries, which got my eyes opened to new ways of thinking

I used to work as an administrative officer at Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State, Nigeria, however,  the master’s degree I obtained necessitated my conversion to teaching staff  (lecturer) in the same institution, in the department of Agricultural technology.

Now ,my job responsibilities includes, but not limited to:

·Lecturing courses at National Diploma (ND) level

·Serving as examiner in causes taught

·Assisting senior colleagues in the department in the conduct of research and experiment

·Performing other duties as may be assigned
