主讲人简介: 

塞尔吉奥Ÿ施奈德   

巴西南大河州联邦大学农村社会学教授。1994年获巴西金边大学社会学硕士学位,1999年获巴西南大河州联邦大学社会学博士学位。主要研究领域包括食物社会学、农村发展、粮食安全、农村非农活动、家庭农业、地域发展以及农村政策等。他与来自拉丁美洲、非洲和欧洲的很多研究者合作开展了诸多研究项目,独立出版或合作出版了6部著作,参与撰写了多部著作。代表性著述包括《家庭农业与工业化》《家庭农业的兼业性》《农村发展中的行动者》等。他目前是巴西农村经济、社会学与管理学会主席,知名期刊《农村研究系列》的主编以及多个国际组织与巴西国内组织在农村发展、农业与营养学方面的专家。

Sergio Schneider   

Professor at Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) of Brazil

Born in 1968, Sergio Schneider got a master degree in sociology from the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (in Brazil) in 1994 and a Ph.D in sociology from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (in Brazil) in 1999. He is currently professor of Rural Sociology and Development Studies at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Porto Alegre, Brazil, where he is linked as full professor and researcher to the Graduate Program of Sociology (PPGS) and Rural Development (PGDR). His main research fields including sociology of food, rural development, food security, rural non-agricultural activities, family farming, territorial development and rural policies. In the past years, he had been working and cooperating in projects with colleagues from Latin America (Colombia, Ecuador, Uruguay and Argentina), Africa (Cape Verde and Mozambique) and Europe. His published works include Family Farming and Industrialization, The Pluriactivity in Family Farming, The Actors of Rural Development: theoretical approach and social practices, etc. He is the current president of the Brazilian Society of Rural Economy, Sociology and Management (SOBER). He is also editor of the Rural Studies Series, and expert for several national and international organizations on issues of rural development, agriculture and nutrition.
