主讲人简介/About the Speaker：Ian Scoones is a professor at the Institute of Development Studies at the University of Sussex, UK and has worked on livelihoods, agrarian and environmental change mostly in sub-Saharan Africa over many years. He was the co-director of the ESRC STEPS Centre based at the University of Sussex from 2006 until 2022 (steps-centre.org). Over the last decade he was a member of the editorial collective of the Journal of Peasant Studies. Recently, he has been the lead of the European Research Council Advanced Grant project, Pastoralism, Uncertainty and Resilience: Global Lessons from the Margins (pastres.org).
