Alberto Jesús Blanco Silva

H.E. Alberto Jesús Blanco Silva is a seasoned diplomat focused on China-Cuba relations. He holds a degree in International Political Relations and studied Modern Chinese at Beijing Language and Culture University. With decades of diplomatic experience, he has served in multiple key roles related to Sino-Cuban exchanges, including Consul General in Shanghai and Minister Counselor of the Cuban Embassy in China. Having first served as Cuban Ambassador to China from 2011 to 2016, he resumed the post in 2023, dedicated to promoting bilateral cooperation in education, agriculture and people-to-people exchanges.
