Doi Ra is a visiting fellow at the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS, The Hague) of Erasmus University Rotterdam, Netherlands. She is a member of the research team of the European Research Council (ERC) Advanced Grant [grant number 834006] awarded project “Commodity & Land Rushes and Regimes: Reshaping Five Spheres of Global Social Life (RRUSHES-5)”. As part of this project, she is working on the interactions between contemporary commodity/land rushes and the spheres of labour, social reproduction and state-citizen, relations in Myanmar. She is also a researcher working with Myanmar program of the Transnational Institute (TNI).
