Introduction to the Speakers: Niklas Wagner is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the German Institute of Development and Sustainability (IDOS) and the University of Geneva. His research focuses on climate governance, knowledge–policy co-production, and multilateral environmental governance, with particular attention to how power, institutional design, and competing forms of knowledge shape global environmental governance. He holds an MPhil in Environmental Policy from the University of Cambridge, a BSc in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from VU Amsterdam, and a PhD in Climate Sociology from the Center for Development Research (ZEF) and the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Bonn.

主要研究气候治理、知识与政策的共同生产以及多边环境治理，尤其关注权力、制度设计与相互竞争的知识形式如何塑造全球环境治理。先后获阿姆斯特丹自由大学（VU Amsterdam）哲学、政治与经济学理学学士（BSc）、剑桥大学环境政策哲学硕士（MPhil）学位、波恩大学发展研究中心（ZEF）与哲学学院气候社会学博士学位。
